Testing
All applicants to the Kindergarten program are given a Kindergarten Readiness Test. Students in the 2nd through 8th grade are administered the Stanford Achievement Test and the Otis Lennon Ability Test in the spring. These tests serve to strengthen our curriculum and meet each student’s individual needs. Kindergarten students take the Metropolitan Readiness Test in the spring to determine readiness for first grade.
In the Upper School, the PSAT is administered to the 9th and 11th graders. The PLAN with a career component is administered to the 10th graders. All Juniors are required to take one semester of SAT Prep, a course designed to assist students in their performance on the SAT.
